A new wave of environmental protest comes to the Bulgarian capital, the highly-anticipated rally against the much-talked about Forestry Act takes place at the previously arranged location, Orlov Most (Eagles Bridge).


The event, which was originally supposed to take place on 3 July at 6:30 pm on the bridge, was postponed due to the devastating wildfire that was out of control near Sofia.


Many of the protesters actually volunteered to help extinguish the fire. Even Israel has expressed readiness to assist in solving the critical situation.
