At the annual United Nations General Assembly Meeting, consisting of the assembly’s General Debate, foreign ministers, diplomats and world leaders of the 192 members of the United Nations are gathering to discuss a wide range of issues in national and international affairs.


For the speakers, the gathering is a chance to stand at the green marble podium in the General Assembly Hall and voice their concerns, deliver verbal attacks towards adversaries or tout new ways of cooperation in national and international affairs.
