The video accompanies the song Nobody Knows Me and was played twice during the performer's world tour, in Tel Aviv and Paris. The clip also depicted images of Adolf Hitler, Pope Benedict XVI, ousted Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak as well as Muslim, Christian and monetary symbols.
The announcement was made by the National Front's vice-president Florian Philippot who stated that the party was adamant about filing a civil complaint for insult at the Bobigny court, northeast of Paris. In motivating the decision to sue Madonna, Philippot said the comparison was "odious".
Madonna is currently on her ninth world tour, MDNA. The tour kicked off in Tel Aviv, Israel, in May 2012 and will end in Australia in 2013.
