As a prerequisite of his next solo record Fires, the British pop-artist Ronan Keating is releasing the first single with the same name.


The musician has been working together with the producers behind Life Is A Rollercoaster on the tracks.


The album of the former Boyzone star is expected to have a poppy sound with 'folk feel' as Keating puts it.


To promote the project the singer goes on a 14-day-tour around the UK, which starts in Bristol's Colston Hall on January 16.


This is Keating's first solo album with original material since his last one in 2006, Bring You Home.
