Portsmouth Football Club is likely to be closed due to grave financial problems.
In February, the British club entered administration for the second time in three seasons. The month before, a petition by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs resulted in a freezing of the club's bank accounts.
Liquidation can only be avoided if senior players of Portsmouth agree to transfer to another club or have a wage cut.
If the football club manages to meet its financial obligations, it will have to start the new season on -10 points in League One according to a restriction set by the Football League.
