Sanctions against threats for Lebanon's stability or in other words Hezbollah supporters continues, after it was extended by the US President Barack Obama.
People, who are thought to have any connection to something or someone that may endanger the national security of the US or want to undermine the Lebanese sovereignty, will see their assets frozen.
The national emergency was declared on 1 August, 2007 by the then President George W. Bush and has been renewed continuously.
The move comes only a day after the EU announced, after a meeting with Israeli officials, that it will not add Hezbollah to the list of terrorist groups.
