Kazakhstan's President Nazarbayev visits Kyrgyzstan -

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev visits neighbouring country Kyrgyzstan at the invitation of the Kyrgyzstani President, Almazbek Atambayev.


According to the head of Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry, Ilyas Omarov ", The top level meeting will focus on a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, commercial and economic, investment and cultural spheres. In line with the agenda, the third session of the Supreme Interstate Council is planned. At the session there will be discussed prospective directions of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz strategic partnership."


During the visit the two sides are also expected to sign the Jubilee Declaration on strategic partnership and allied relations, which was first signed 20 years ago, and several other diplomatic documents. 


The Days of Kazakhstan's Culture in Kyrgyzstan are also set to be opened during Nazarbayev's visit.
