The launch of Windows Phone 8 is expected to take place in September, possibly during the Nokia World Conference in Helsinki.
According to the Finnish phone manufacturer, the new Nokia smartphones will be radically different from the operating system currently in use and as such will provide a better user experience. Specifically,Windows Phone 8 is expected to be easier to use for developers to create apps, support dual-core chips WP8 and will encourage companies to produce devices with an HD display.
Nokia's Lumia smartphone line, launched in November 2011, has been a disappointment from a sales perspective. Only 7 million units of the phone have been sold so far.
