UK and Canada to establish joint diplomatic missions abroad

The UK and Canada are to establish joint diplomatic missions abroad in order to expand the countries' diplomatic presence in places where neither of the two have an embassy.
According to UK's Foreign Secretary William Hague, the move will give Britain "a bigger reach abroad for less cost".
"We are two nations, but under one Queen and united by one set of values," Hague quoted British Prime Minister David Cameron as saying.
"We are first cousins. So it is natural that we look to link up our embassies with Canada's in places where that suits both countries. It will give us a bigger reach abroad for our businesses and people for less cost," he added.
