Beyonce is to perform during the Super Bowl's halftime show. 


The 31-year-old celebrity singer, who is known for her hits Crazy in Love and Irreplaceable, performed at the Super Bowl once before, when she sang the national anthem in 2004.


Rumours are the star's performance could feature a collaboration with husband-rapper Jay-Z or her former bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. 


This will be New Orleans' first Super Bowl game since Hurricane Katrina destroyed a large part of the city.
