French President François Hollande visits Athens to hold euro crisis talks with Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras.
Hollande accepted Samaras' invitation to visit his country on the sidelines of the October European Summit, which saw European leaders take a decision on the EU-wide bank union.
The French visit, which follows the talks between Samaras and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in October, is expected to express support for the country's government and hail its efforts to solve the crisis.
The agenda of the meeting is dominated by talks about the Greek bailout and will also include the topic of investments.
