Rock legends Iggy Pop and The Stooges are to tour Australia. After their Adelaide gig the veteran rock stars are scheduled to perform in Festival Hall, Melbourne, on March 27 and Hordern Pavilion, Sydney, on April 4th.

The rock icon is among several big names to announce an Australian tour in the past few weeks. Other performers include Robert Plant and Bruce Springsteen.

The 65-year-old leader of The Stooges is known for his hits Lust for Life, The Passenger, Candy, Search and Destroy, but perhaps even more for his outrageous behavior on stage.
