American rock band 30 Seconds to Mars are to release a new album, frontman Jared Leto has revealed.


According to Leto, the album is poised to be "stronger, better and more evolved" than the band's previous work.


So far, 30 Seconds to Mars have released three albums, the homonymous debut album 30 Seconds to Mars, launched in 2002, A Beautiful Lie (2005) and This Is War (2009).


The news is expected to please fans of the popular rock band as the upcoming launch dispels rumors that the band is heading for a breakup.
