Slava's Snowshow, the stage spectacle created by the Russian artist Slava Polunin, returns for the festive season to London's South Bank.
In the show, Russia's famous clown frolics around snowy winter scenes, miming stories with the aid of abstract images, props and scores of popular music.
The Snowshow had its premiere in Russia in 1993 and has won several awards, including the US Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience, the Australian Helpmann award for best visual or physical theatre, and the British Laurence Olivier Award for best entertainment.
