Narnia author Lewis honored at Poets' corner

The author of The Chronicles of Narnia Clive Staples Lewis is honored with a memorial stone in Poets' Corner at Westminster Abbey.
The memorial is presented on the 50th anniversary of Lewis' death, for which a special ceremony will be held.
The novelist, poet, essayist and literary critic will join famous fellow literates William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Thomas Hardy and Geoffrey Chaucer at Poets' Corner. All are either buried or commemorated at the location.

Lewis is known for his Narnia children's fantasy series about the adventures of a group of kids in a magical world. His most famous was The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which sold more than 100 million copies worldwide.
