Premier League football club Chelsea signs Brazilian teenager Wallace Oliveira dos Santos during the transfer window.
The attacking right-back who played for A Seleção, Brazil's Under-20 national team, will stay with his current club Fluminese until the end of the current season.
The transfer fee that Chelsea has paid for Wallace has not been revealed yet. Besides the London football club, several Italian clubs were also interested in the attacker.
The 18-year-old helped Fluminese win the Brazilian League Championship and two regional titles last season. In 2011, Wallace played a major role in Brazil winning the South American Under-17 Championship title and has helped the team achieve the fourth place in the Under-17 World Cup.
