Bernanke is one of the speakers at the series of lectures "Policy Talks (at) the Ford School" organized at the Ann Arbor school.
The event is sponsored by Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy and is open to the public.
Before his appointment as chairman of the Federal Reserve, Bernanke was a tenured professor at Princeton University. He is the author of the Bernanke Doctrine, a series of measures that the Federal Reserve can use when conducting monetary policy in order to combat deflation.
