The US Army releases suicide data for the previous year.  


The rate of suicides in the American Army has been steadily rising in the last years, reaching 164 active-duty suicides in 2011.


Moreover, the Army has been lately reporting a sharp increase in violent sex crimes, most victims of which being active-duty female soldiers.
