Hilary Clinton returns to work after blood clot

Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, who has experienced a series of medical problems, is expected to return to work.
"Some of the senior staff who spoke to her [Clinton] about half an hour ago say that she’s sounding terrific, upbeat, raring to go," State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said on January 3. "She's looking forward to getting back to the office. She is very much planning to do so next week. And we’ll have further, precise details about that as she continues to make progress."
Clinton's staff and the House and Senate foreign relation committees are now looking to set a date for the State Secretary's testimony on the attack on the US Consulate in Libya after her condition led to a series of delays.

Clinton was released from a New York City hospital on January 2 after three days of treatment for a potentially dangerous blood clot in her head.
The visit to the hospital was her second in a month. Early December, Clinton was reported to have contracted a stomach virus and suffered a blow to the head after fainting from dehydration. She was diagnosed with a concussion on December 13.
