|
Derek Eastham and Elie Khoury appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on charges of conspiracy to defraud in connection with the investigation into the murder of wealthy former oil executive Carole Waugh.
Waugh's body was found with a single stab wound inside a car in a lock-up garage in south-west London on August 2.
According to the police, between April 15 and August 1, Eastham conspired with others to defraud banks and other financial institutions. He was found to be in possession of a quantity of counterfeit currency.
Khoury is alleged to have conspired with others to defraud banks and other financial institutions between the same dates.
Both were charged on December 28 and were released on bail on the same day.
