Walcott set to sign new Arsenal contract

Theo Walcott is expected to sign a fresh contract that will keep him at Arsenal until 2017.
Negotiations during the festive period have made it likely that the star will sign an improved contract, after he rejected an earlier renewal offer from the club in August.
The in-form striker will pen a deal which will see him earn around £90,000 a week plus top-up bonuses and a multi-million pound signing-on fee, a significant upgrade from the £75,000 wage offered in August.
Walcott has already scored 14 goals this season, including a hat-trick during Arsenal's 7-3 victory in the end-of-year fixture against Newcastle.
