Chinese-owned firms, Cambodia Iron and Steel and Steel Mining Industry, launch three construction projects in Cambodia.
On December 31, 2012, the two firms signed an $11 billion deal with the Southeast Asian country to build a new railway, a port and a steel factory.
The 400-kilometer rail line will run from a new plant in northern Preah Vihear province to a port, which will be built Koh Kong in Cambodia's southwest.
