Jennifer Lopez is to launch her eight studio album, the singer announced via Twitter.


Moroccan producer RedOne has confirmed he is the executive producer of the album, which is expected to be a "mix" of styles.


"It's a very special album. It feels like this album, to us, has to have everything about her, not just one thing. You're going to have all the sides, kind of urban/hip-hop and the commercial, like the way she did with Ja Rule," RedOne told MTV Music in November 2012.


"It's everything you love about her [including] the dance, the rhythmic, the Latin," he added.

Lopez launched her latest studio album Love? in 2011, which is considered her most personal album to date.
