April Jones murder trial starts after delay

Mark Bridger is set to stand trial for the murder of five-year-old April Jones. The trial was scheduled to start on February 25 but was postponed to allow the defence team to make "further inquiries".
Bridger appeared before Mold Crown Court in January, where he pleaded not guilty. He accepted that he was probably
responsible for her death but denies he murdered her.
He also denied two other charges, abduction and attempt to prevent the course of justice, following her disappearance in Machynlleth, Powys, in October 2012.
Justice John Griffith-Williams, the judge who conducted the pre-trial hearing, ordered that none of the evidence mentioned could be publicly reported.
