Argentina and Iran jointly establish a "truth commission" in an effort to resolve the dispute over the 1994 bombing of a Buenos Aires Jewish community center. Argentina accuses Iran of sponsoring the attack but Tehran denies the allegations.
The two countries opened talks on the issue in October 2012 in a move that angered Israel and provoked criticism from Jewish leaders in Buenos Aires as well as the US.
The commission, which will comprise five foreign legal experts, will "analyze all the documentation presented to date by the judicial authorities of Argentina and Iran", Argentina's President Cristina Fernandez stated.
According to the agreement between Iran and Argentina, after analyzing the evidence, the commission will "give its vision and issue a report with recommendations about how the case should proceed within the legal and regulatory framework of both parties."
