Commonwealth Secretary-General Kamalesh Sharma visits Sri Lanka amid international scrutiny. His move comes after the US decided to submit a fresh resolution on the country at the upcoming UN sessions for failing to improve human rights records and reconciliation measures.


Sharma's is scheduled to discuss arrangements being made by the country to host the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in November 2013.
