Iran upgrades its highly controversial nuclear program at Natanz plant by using more modern uranium enrichment centrifuges. 

Tehran informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of the upgrade late January in a letter. The new IR-2m centrifuges will enable the Islamic country to refine uranium faster. 


The move is likely to create concerns in the US, Israel and the European Union, which already suspect Iran is developing nuclear weapons.
