Police officers from Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary investigating the 1988 bombing of Scottish town of Lockerbie visit Libya to pursue suspects. The attack took the lives of 270 people.
The move was announced by UK Prime Minister David Cameron on January 31 following a surprise visit to Libya and a meeting with his counterpart Ali Zeidani.
The only person ever convicted for the bombing, Abdelbaset al-Megrah, died in May 2012. The Libyan agent was released by the Scottish government in 2009 as he was suffering from terminal prostate cancer.
The Libyan government vowed in December 2012 to open all files relating to the bombing by 2015.
