EU financial services chief Michel Barnier is to meet with top Italian officials to discuss several economic issues including the recent scandal concerning the country's third-biggest lender.
During his stay, Barnier will hold meetings with the local Economy minister, Italy's central bank governor and representatives of the Italian Banking Association (ABI).
