Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi attends the ongoing Kumbh Mela festival. 


"Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Allahabad on February 12 to take a holy dip in the river Ganga during the Kumbh Mela," said the Chief Minister's office.


Vishwa Hindus Parishad organization and some Hindu religious groups close to the Sangh Parivar may discuss Modi's prime ministerial candidature for the Bharatiya Janata Party during the Kumbh Mela festival.
