Scotland launches first satellite 'UKube-1' on Russian rocket in Kazakhstan

The satellite is developed by Glasgow-based company Clyde Space.
UKube-1 is to measure plasmaspheric space weather with the help of GPS technology and test how cosmic radiation could improve the security of communication satellites.
