A five-judge bench delivers a ruling on the eligibility of Jubilee Alliance presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta and his running mate William Ruto.
The suit challenging the eligibility of Uhuru and Ruto was filed by the International Center for Policy and Conflict, which seeks to prevent the two from contesting the upcoming elections based on the charges they are facing at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
In 2010 the ICC summoned the duo along with four others over their role in the post-election violence in 2007-8 that killed 1,200 Kenyans and displaced a further 300,000.
