Countrywide protest in Pakistan, electoral reforms demanded

The event is organised by the moderate religious leader, Mohammad Tahir ul-Qadri, who also organised a similar demonstration in Islamabad last month which attracted hundreds of thousands of protesters.
“This is initial stage of our revolution’s second phase,” Tahir-ul-Qadri said while addressing a press conference.
"Our movement is meant for the rights of 18 million oppressed people. Our struggle created awareness among masses and this is why the government assured implementation of Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution in the general elections," the cleric added.
