Turkey's new anti-terrorism financing law comes into effect after it has been signed by the country's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The Turkish parliament approved the long-awaited bill on February 7, two weeks ahead of the February 22 deadline, which could have seen Turkey expelled from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
The legislation, required by members of the international money-laundering watchdog, will allow the freezing of alleged terrorist accounts without a court order.
FATF's black list includes Iran and North Korea among others.
