Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati declared February 14 a national holiday to mark the eight anniversary of the assassination of five-time Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
Hariri, one of Lebanon's most important Sunni leaders, was killed along with 22 other people in a bombing in February 2005 as his convoy passed St. George Hotel in Beirut.
The trial of four Hezbollah-members indicted of the assassination is due to begin in March.
