World Bank VP for Africa Makhtar Diop visits Ghana for talks with president Mahama

The World Bank Vice President for Africa Makhtar Diop makes his first official visit to Ghana for talks with President Jogn Dramani Mahama. During his visit the official is scheduled to meet senior government officials, as well as women, business and civil society leaders.
The bank noted that over the past several decades, "we are happy to see Ghana continuing to make major strides in maintaining its high economic growth while investing in the health, education, and job opportunities for its people".
At the end of the visit, Diop is scheduled to hold a dialogue session with the media.
