Tina Fey, the brain behind NBC's three-time Emmy-winning comedy 30 Rock, and Amy Poehler join forces at the 70th edition of the Golden Globe Awards. 

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) revealed the names of the unexpected hosts on October 16. 


For the past three years, the event has been hosted by the British comedian Ricky Gervais, resulting in a plethora of infamous jokes targeted at some of the country's biggest celebrities. Whether the comedic duo will be better behaved than their predecessor is still unknown.


"The unparalleled comedic timing of Tina and Amy will surely have viewers wanting to tune-in to see them in action", HFPA president Aida Takla-O'Reilly said, referring to the couple as a "magnetic duo".
