Commemoration of Rwanda Genocide 2015

Sparked by the murder of Rwandan president Juvenal Habyarimana on April 6, tensions between Tutsi's and Hutu's reached an all time peak. The Hutus blamed the RPF Tutsi rebel group and their leader Paul Kagame for the president's death. The Tutsi's however blamed militant Hutu's and argued the latter were trying to seize power and start an anti-Tutsi outrage.
The involvement, or non-involvement, of the international community in the Rwandan crisis has been criticized for failing to protect thousands of people from a tragic death.
Since the genocide, the UN has called April 7 as the day to remember the Rwandan Genocide, and to learn from faults made then.
