South-African Defence Minister opens AAD 2012 -

South-African Minister of Defence and Military Veterans Nosiviwe Mapisa – Nqakula opens the seventh edition of the Aerospace and Defense Exhibition (AAD). The exhibition is Africa's largest exhibition of air, sea and land capabilities and defence mechanisms.


 The event gathers numerous defence ministers from Africa and beyond. So far, ministers from Botswana, Italy, Egypt, Malaysia, Namibia, the People’s Republic of China, Tanzania, Ukraine, Thailand, Zambia and Zimbabwe have confirmed their presence to the exhibition.


In continuation to the event, the public can attend two air shows are scheduled for September 22nd and 23rd.
