National Student Employment Week

The National Student Employment Week matches with the National Student Volunteering Week.

The University of Birmingham Students Guild is organising different events during the week. If students want to find summer jobs and other opportunities they should go to the NASES’ Virtual Jobs Fair or to the online virtual adviser who answers student employment questions.

There is a LGBQT workshop on ‘Managing Identity in the Workplace’, given by the university’s Equality & Diversity Adviser with assistance from student employer (PwC).

The Student Action for Refugees (STAR) and Amnesty International Volunteering Projects are occupying the streets of Birmingham on Thursday in order to raise awareness of the numerous homeless asylum seekers.
