The Full Moon Party is an all-night beach party held every full moon.
Originating in Haad Rin, on the Thai island of Ko Pha Ngan, the festival first started with some 30travelersin 1985 and has since expanded to some 30,000 revelers today.
The party is known to carry on throughout the night until dusk the following day. Popular musical genres for the celebration include reggae, R&B, drum and bass, house and dance.
The Full Moon Party has a reputation for being 'the ultimate party experience'.
