Members of the European Parliament meet for an additional two-day plenary session.

The plenary sessions are formal sittings of the Parliament to vote on EU legislation and on the Parliament's position on different political issues. Legislative work done in the committees and in the other political groups is also finalized at this session.

The agenda for the plenary session is published online after its adoption by the Conference of Presidents of political groups.

Mini-plenary can take place up to six times per year.
