With support of the World Nuclear Association and a variety of sponsors including Rosatom, Hitachi-General Electric, Norton Rose and Mitsubishi, the 4th annual nuclear power Asia conference and exhibition is held.

Topics covered at the conference include an overview of nuclear deveopment in Southeast Asia, case studies of new plants being built, lessons of mature nuclear power markets, safety and waste management issues, and plant ownership models. Participants include industry professionals, officials, bankers and investors.

Despite the Fukushima nuclear disaster in 2011, the future of the nuclear power industry looks rosy, with 41 reactors currently under construction in Asia, 98 reactors planned for the next decade, and a further 221 reactors proposed.
