The BRICS leaders' summit is an annual meeting of leaders of Brazil, Russia, China, India and South Africa.
Among the themes discussed at this year's meeting will be the Syrian crisis. "There will be a discussion. For the BRICS states, the scenarios of interference in Syria's internal affairs are absolutely inadmissible. The general vector of discussion will be based upon the principle that only the Syrians can resolve their problems, and that international community members can only help," said the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federation Council of Russia Mikhail Margelov.
The summit will also promote the idea to set up an international BRICS bank. In addition, BRICS leaders are expected to launch a BRICS Business Council.
