Victory Day

Victory Day is an important holiday in many Eastern European countries established by the fifteen republics of the Soviet Union one day after the surrender of Nazi Germany on May 8 of 1945.

Homage is paid to those who lost their lives during the war with impressive military parades and fireworks displays to commemorate military bravery, endeavor and Soviet triumph.
