The Munich Security Conference has become the major security policy conference worldwide. Each year, since 1962, it brings together senior figures from around the world to engage in a debate on current and future security challenges. Each year, some 350 participants from 40 countries discuss in depth their views on the development of transatlantic relations as well as European and global security. Invitees include Ministers, members of Parliament, high-ranking representatives of the armed forces, scientists, and media representatives.
