Hiroshima Bombing Memorial

This day is reserved as a memorial to the innocent victims who lost their lives in Hiroshima.

In 1945, Hiroshima fell victim to an attack when it was hit by the very first allied nuclear bomb close towards the end of World War II. It is the first city in history to have felt the impact of a nuclear warhead.

The Hiroshima Peace Memorial is one of the remaining ruins since the attack and stands as a remembrance to the tragic event where more than 70,000 people were killed on impact.
