The Executive Director of UNAIDS Michel Sidibé, former US President Bill Clinton and activist Bob Geldof speak at this year's International AIDS Conference.
The International AIDS Conference is a biennial forum focused on the incurable disease HIV/AIDS.
It is the key conference for people working in the field of HIV, policymakers, persons living with HIV and other individuals devoted to ending the disease.
The conference serves to evaluate recent scientific developments in the field and to develop strategies for collective efforts to treat and prevent HIV.
This year's conference also commemorates key researchers, such as the World Health Organization employee Glenn Thomas, who were among the passengers aboard the MH17 plane that crashed in eastern Ukraine on July 17.
