Reverend Al Sharpton, founder of the National Action Network (NAN) leads a march from Selma to Montgomery in support of voting rights and in commemoration of 'Bloody Sunday'.
The marchers are joined by congressional leaders and activists protesting against voter identification laws and reverse anti-immigration laws in the state of Alabama.
The 1965 Selma to Montgomery march became known as 'Bloody Sunday' after the 600 marchers, amongst whom was Dr.Martin Luther King, were brutally attacked by police resulting in many injuries.
