The Partnership in Statistics for Development in the 21st Century (PARIS21) holds its annual meeting.

PARIS21 is a global forum which brings together national, regional and international statisticians, policy-makers, analysts, development professionals and other users of statistics.

It aims to encourage, facilitate and influence the development of statistical capacity and the use of statistics in low and lower middle income countries.

PARIS21 was established in November 1999 by the UN, IMF, World Bank, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the European Commission.

On top of updating you on our accomplishments and plans for the coming year, we will feature the official launch of the new Guidelines for National Strategies for the Development of Statistics (NSDS); an update on PARIS21's Post-2015 activities, including our newest project "Informing a Data Revolution"; and a discussion on innovations that are enabling countries to transform data into knowledge, resulting in policy action. If you have any questions with regard to the programme or meeting logistics, please contact Katarzyna Zaremba at
